HGC Real Estate Advisory Group is a real estate asset manager and advisor to the principals and affiliates of the Henry Group and HGC Investment Management headquartered in Beijing and Hong Kong with offices in Singapore, Toronto, Vancouver, Boston and Los Angeles.

The Company currently manages $2 billion of debt and equity investments for opportunistic, mixed-use and residential projects in the greater metropolitan areas of Boston, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco-San Jose.

Source merchant-build multifamily and mixed-use developments in major U.S. Metropolitan Statistical Areas for joint venture equity and preferred equity investment.

Acquire on a joint venture or co-GP basis, stabilized core+ and value add multifamily properties.

Originate senior and/or subordinated loans for single-family home and commercial developments.

Allocate and invest risk capital in large-scale, mixed-use projects in high barriers-to-entry markets such as Boston, Los Angeles and New York.

Focus its resources on a wide range of residential development opportunities from land banking to shovel ready projects in collaboration with well-established, real estate developers and operators.

Previously held positions with public and private real estate developers and operators including as Managing Director for Boston-based Taurus Investment Holdings, LLC.

Over 20 years experience in the international private equity investment field.

Managed $2 billionin EB-5 debt assets for Company affiliates.

Previously Vice President of CDIB & Partners in Taiwan, managing over $1 billion in investments; and,

Summa Capital hedge funds, responsible for the management of financial model analysis and asset portfolios.

Graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ryan Berschneider
Ryan BerschneiderSenior Vice President, HGC Real Estate Advisory Group

Over 20 years of experience in real estate investment management, investment banking, financial services, and business development.

Formerly a Vice President at Cottonwood Management, a private equity real estate firm with over $2 billion of assets under management, where he was responsible for structuring and managing real estate debt investments.

Prior experience includes investment banking.  Advised middle market technology and business services companies on capital raises and M&A transactions.

Earned his M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at U.S.C. and received a B.A. from Tufts University.
